What does Shankh Labs do?
Shankh Labs builds the software Indian businesses run on: marketing, customer WhatsApp, quoting, stock, online shops and internal tools, connected so they share one set of records. It is based in Surat, Gujarat, and is a Meta Authorised Tech Provider. Two of its products are sold by name - Aura for marketing and Hella for WhatsApp - and the rest is built to fit the business.
What is Hella?
Hella is a shared WhatsApp Business inbox. Every customer conversation lands in one place the whole team can see, assigned to a named person and tagged, instead of sitting on one staff member's personal phone. It adds contact grouping, bulk messages through Meta-approved templates, in-chat forms, product catalogues, and AI agents that draft replies a person sends. It runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform.
What is Aura?
Aura is a marketing system that plans, writes, designs and publishes campaigns for Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn and Google Business. It reads the business's own brand guidelines and product catalogue, so it cannot describe a product or a price that is not actually for sale. It stops for human approval twice: once before it generates anything, and again before anything is published.
Will the AI post something without asking me first?
No. Both products require a person to approve before anything leaves the system. Aura stops for approval before it generates a campaign and again before it publishes, and neither stop can be switched off. Hella drafts replies but a person sends them. Every action is recorded in an audit trail the business can read itself, without asking Shankh Labs for it.
Does Meta charge separately from what I pay for Hella?
Yes. Meta charges for some WhatsApp conversation types at its own published rates, separately from any Hella subscription. That is true of every provider on the WhatsApp Business Platform, and anyone quoting a single all-in price is hiding a bill that still arrives. Hella shows the running total inside the product so it is not a surprise at the end of the month.
Why does using the official WhatsApp API stop my number being banned?
Unofficial bulk tools drive a logged-in phone in the background, sending faster than a person could type and often to people who never opted in. Meta's systems detect that pattern and ban the number, usually permanently. The official WhatsApp Business Platform sends through templates Meta has reviewed in advance and gives the number a visible quality rating, so problems show up as a warning rather than as a dead number.
